Yacht Purser Course©
In recognition of the increasing standards and demands on-board yachts, The Crew Academy has developed
a comprehensive training for on-board yacht administrators to prepare them for the demanding requirements of a Purser. The only accredited course of its kind in the industry, the Yacht Purser Course© was born due to the demand from yacht management and crew alike to enable crew to progress seamlessly through the ranks to Purser and furthermore provide key support to Captains, Head of Departments and Shore Management.
Course Outline
During this intensive 2-week training course, students are assessed weekly by means of written examinations, presentations and group work.
Key Outcomes
Students emerge from this training proficient in the administrative duties required and armed with the knowledge to carry out all tasks that are often associated and requested from the role of a Purser.
Accreditation
Upon successful completion each student will receive, The Crew Academy ‘Purser Course’ certificate along with the following four G.U.E.S.T. and IAMI accredited courses: Yacht Interior Management (23/MM), Yacht Interior Leadership (24/ML), Accounting and Budgeting and Introduction to International Safety Management.
Price
Prices include all training material, equipment provided, private accommodation, and daily breakfast and lunch at the academy (excluding weekends) for the 2-week duration
Number of delegates per course is a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 to ensure optimal training results.
