Page 22 - THE CHURCH BEFORE THE MOCKING WORLD
P. 22

When we come to the table of remembrance and take the Bread and the Wine, we do so in the presence of the Martyrs. Along with them we worship the Lamb who was slain.
We extend to each other familial love. We join in united humility. We are united in common parentage. We faint in wonder into each other?s arms. We fulfil the Commands of Christ to His people.
With this in mind, as you meditate on the New Commandment and the New Covenant, go into a church building, preferably one that you are normally uncomfortable with, and repent for not loving Jesus by loving His Church, in whatever form it manifests itself.
Then, humble yourself before the Altar of Heaven and tremble with thanks as you hold the Bread and the Wine in unclean hands made pure by the Blood of the everlasting Covenant.
Eucharistic Socialism is: Unity with humility revealed to the watching world.
