Why are we developing stretch films that are thinner,
stronger and longer?
As a result of cutting edge resin technology and product innovation, a comprehensive range of
Omni Stretch films have been released - thinner, stronger and longer than the world has ever seen.
For decades the Industry had remained stagnant and lacking in the development of stretch films.
Almost the only available microns of film were 20, 23, 25um. Many focused on the cost per roll rather
than the yield of a roll or the overall the cost of wrapping a pallet. Manufacturers accommodated
to this by producing film at low roll price but also with a very low meterage and performance.
In contrast to this we have been focusing on developing stretch films of lower micron yet higher
strength and performance with stretch yields to over 400%. It’s this innovative resin developments
that given us the ability to guarantee that our Omni Stretch films will reduce plastic usage per
pallet up to 70%.
