that are suitable for the human conscience such as ‘Honor

your father and mother, take care of your poor neighbors’,
‘Look after and give generously to the widow in need’, etc. Of
course, if these commandments are not linked to the spiri-
tual things, but limited only to its literal meaning, actually it
is deviated from the intention of God. But these command-

ments are suitable for the human conscience, so there is no
one to persecute those who honor their parents because they
do. Who persecutes because they honor their parents? There
is no one to blame. It means you will not be persecuted and
martyred because you take care of the poor neighbor and

give generously to the poor in need. Rather, you will get re-
warded because you are doing a good work, right? Because it
is suitable for the human conscience, even all nonbelievers
say it is good. Therefore, even nonbelievers say that church

does not teach bad things, so don’t they say that they would
hear good words in the church?
So, when those who believe based on their conscienc-
es, see the faith of others, they see as a criteria how they serve
their parents, how close they are with their siblings, how

much they share feelings with neighbors. They think those
are the love that God says. Therefore, they weigh and mea-
sure the pastor with their consciences, and if they think he is
insufficient while they observe him carefully, then they judge

him to be a person having no love and sympathy. But faith
