The focus of the room was on the wall opposite the door. It was a massive oak desk. It was as rich and perfect as everything else in the room. The desk top had an odd assortment of business tools that included a quill pen and ink well, a solid-gold ballpoint pen and an iMac computer.
On the wall, behind the desk, towards the left and right of the desk were two twelve-foot-tall windows, with window seats and full-length, heavy, ruby-colored brocade drapes.
