Welcome to our Fall 2024 Kent Parks & Recreation Guide!
With the new season, our Parks team has another exciting catalog of programs
and events for all ages.
Our Parks staff love what they do and make these experiences unforgettable.
They make sure every opportunity is fun and creates lasting memories!
From sports and fitness programs to cultural arts performances and more,
there’s something for every member of the family.
So take some time to look through everything our Parks Department has to
offer, including our beautiful parks as the Fall season brings colorful
new adventures.

Kent Parks, Recreation & Community Services is dedicated to enriching lives. We believe
that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in recreation activities! A goal
within our mission is to ensure that every pre-school child and school-age youth residing
within the City of Kent or Kent School District, has full access to a wide variety of recreational
opportunities, regardless of family income or ability to pay. Our scholarships help make our
programs and activities more accessible to the community. Thus far, no eligible individual has
been denied!
Scholarships are also available for Senior participants (age 50 and older) for the lunch
program and fitness center. Senior applicants must reside within the City of Kent or within
King County. Financial assistance for Adults 50+ is provided by King County Veterans, Seniors,
Human Services Levy funds.

Senior Center scholarships: Copy of most recent Federal 1040 income tax returns, OR if you
are unable to provide either of these, you may submit other documentation of income such
as SSA/SSI Benefit Statements, last 3 months of paycheck stubs, etc. (age 50 and older only).
