P. 3
Welcome to the 2026–27 Kent Parks Guide!
One of the best things about Kent is the number of ways our community can connect, play, learn and
enjoy time together. Whether you are signing your child up for a new class, looking for a fitness program,
exploring our parks and trails, joining an activity at the Kent Senior Activity Center, or finding something fun
for the whole family, our Parks team has something for everyone.
Each season, I am grateful for the work our Parks, Recreation and Community Services staff do to create
programs and events that bring people together and help make Kent such a great place to call home.
From youth sports and camps to cultural programs, outdoor recreation, senior activities and community
events, these opportunities are an important part of what keeps our city active, welcoming and connected.
I hope you’ll take some time to look through this guide and find something new to try this year. Maybe it’s
a class you’ve always been curious about, a program for your kids, a volunteer opportunity, or a community
event you can enjoy with friends and neighbors.
Thank you for being part of what makes Kent special. I look forward to seeing you out in our parks, at our
events and around our community this year.
FROM THE MAYOR
Dana Ralph, Mayor of Kent
