Paxi

Just eight miles long, Paxi also known as
Paxos or Paxoi is one of the smallest Ionian
Islands and a gem in the Ionian Sea. The
island is just a few miles off the south of
Corfu and has plenty of attractions to
delight all travellers.

With its luxury villas and resorts, boutique
shops and harbour villages, the island
attracts many visitors, especially those
looking for a more exclusive vacation spot.
Paxi is also a popular destination for
snorkelling, scuba diving and yachts, which
makes it a wonderful base for exploring.

There are a number of good beaches to
enjoy in Paxi too, but you'll need
transportation to access most. On the
island's south coast there are numerous
sea caves to discover and explore. Other
attractions around the island that are also
worth a visit include the ancient Venetian
fortress of Agios Nikolaos, the English
Governor’s House and the Olive Museum.
