Sightseeing/Excursion
Sightseeing or excursion is a journey by a group of students to a place outside of their
normal classroom. It provides students with firsthand experience where students can try new
things, have different experiences and learn valuable life lesson.
The purpose of sightseeing is usually observation for education and to provide students
with experience outside their everyday activities. Sightseeing gives students a chance to get out
of the classroom and experience something new and allows them to have a real world
experience. It expands student’s horizons and allows them to learn experientially.
What is excursion?
Excursion is a short journey or trip, especially one engaged in a leisure activity.
