The EU offers 3 basic solutions for the evaluation of the plastic

materials used:

•Re-use,

•Repair,
•Recycle.

Member countries are actively involved in carrying out social

responsibility campaigns that will raise awareness among

citizens to reduce plastic waste.

The first stage in waste management is to prevent the formation

of waste, and if this cannot be achieved, it is aimed to minimize

the waste. Then, if the reuse of waste is not possible, recycling

and energy recovery are aimed first.
