Collaboration x Anjeli Melwaney
Editor & Post Graduate Participant – Design for Visual Communication ’20 Entrepreneur at ASHANJELLY
In collaboration with June and adapting to her philosophy, Anjeli decided to seek beauty in her daily monotonous commute – to university and about!
She found herself intrigued by the varying seat covers on the London tube service; each distinct for different lines. ‘I didn’t realize how fascinating this is until I consciously looked around to notice them. I then set out on mission, happily altering my journeys and exploring different routes only to find pattern inspirations’ she says.
“Inspiration is everywhere! You just have
to be open to discover it”
Anjeli tried to imagining how she
could use these simple patterns in context... Could they serve as a poster? Or perhaps a gift wrapping paper? Maybe even some funky stationary!
