Morris has over two decades of broad-based experience having served on
the Design Team, Construction Team, Facilities Engineering and Maintenance

Team and as the Owner’s Project Representative.

Morris Thomas recently joined Garmong Construction to provide leadership and development strategies for
the implementation of the Garmong Health Team. Serving as a representative of the design and construction
team, as well as being the owner’s representative on a multitude of projects varying in scale and complexity,
has given Morris a unique perspective of healthcare facility planning, construction and operations.

Morris’ project experience includes performing construction administration for major expansions at Union
Hospital in Terre Haute and Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, as well as the design and
construction of several medical office buildings, construction and renovation of multiple patient units and
many highly technical spaces in the areas of imaging, cath lab and surgery. His experience in the design and
construction of facilities is supplemented by his experience in the areas of code and regulatory compliance,
ICRA and building forensics.

Morris is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), as well as an associate member in the AIA and holds
additional memberships in ASHE, NFPA and CSI. He is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of
Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture.
