BAYSWATER NEWS
Welcome
By Eva Ballai
Hi everyone,
Recently joining the warm and welcoming team at Bayswater
Gardens, with its idyllic water views and the boutique atmosphere
has been most refreshing. I can see this reflected in our residence Resident lunch at the Tigers Club
daily. I am still settling in at Bayswater Gardens, since there is much
to do in terms of a management transition and smooth-running
without impacting the residents, not to mention future planning.
My first involvement in an entertainment project for the residents
was “Christmas in July” and from all accounts, this was a huge success
for staff, residents, guests and all concerned! I feel very honoured to
know that one of our residents has recently been nominated to
receive a medal of honour from the French Government for his part
in the liberation of France, and having a military background myself, I
am hoping to make this a formal occasion, honouring Mr Ronald Resident Marcia at the Indian Independence
Rhode later in the year. Day Celebrations
As a premier provider of quality care, we at Cranbrook Care believe it
is important to keep our residents motivated, informed, entertained
and in good health. We also believe this extends to our staff, so the
more activities, and the more people that want to come to work each
day; where they enjoy providing safe, effective, competent,
compassionate and individualised care, the better. My immediate and
future plans are to strive to create a happy place to work, in keeping
with our company policy which includes empowering our staff
through training and development and continually improving our
service, with resident input. We are to recognise and celebrate not Mothers' Day High Tea
only the diversity of our staff but also the residents who have some
wonderful tales to tell. We hope that Spring brings with it some more
exciting activities and events to come.
With warm wishes
Residents Avis, Pamela & Marie
