MESSAGE FROM CHAIR
It seems strange to start a letter of congratulations quoting Charles Dickens, but it truly is “The best of times and the worst of times...”. We started planning the 175th Anniversary of the Founding of Albert County in January 2019, when we realized the federal grant was due in 14 days. After a short two weeks of hectic work, we put together a 72 page grant application and the rest, they say, is history.
Here we are in the Spring of 2020, in the throes of a global pandemic and we find all the work of the past year has been sidelined, the countless hours the AC175 Committee put in gone. We had an amazing schedule of live events planned, which due to social distancing isn’t going to happen, so we’re shifting gears and employing technology to move everything online. Check out

Now you ask, “How is this best of times”? Well, can you imagine a better place in the world to be than Albert County in 2020? We have it all – an amazing history, the world renowned Fundy National Park, the world acclaimed Rocks Provincial Park, adventurous Cape Enrage, sandy beaches, rocky shores, 9 covered bridges, 999 waterfalls, a bird sanctuary, hiking & biking trails, snowmobile & ATV trails, wildlife and nature galore! So, I encourage you get out and explore your county, and especially plan to visit your local Museums (We have 5!) because they’re the keepers of our shared past.
