Munich in September, when he will spend a few months travelling, before looking to explore the next career step in some combination of business, technology, LGBT rights and electric cars. Good luck Ben.
A couple of wedding-related stories to report now with multiple OO attendants.
The first is from Ben Legget (D 65), who held a large lunch party in May for more than 150 to celebrate his 40 years of marriage and son Richard’s (St A 04) wedding to Rachel Beal on 26th May. Lots of Rick’s OO friends attended, including Will Chrimes (Sc 04), George Johnson (C 04), Olly Coles (St A 03), Pip Elborne (St A 04) and Ben’s old friend, Martin Eayrs (C 65). Ben retains his svelte physique, riding regularly. He has retired as a
consultant with Fisher German in Chester, but is still involved with rural farm matters and property investment in Liverpool. Ben reports that his brother-in-law, Robert Forde (Sc 71), is still active on the squash and tennis scenes, and lives in North Wales in Rhos-on-Sea. Ben recommends attending the annual OO lunch earlier in the year as a fun way of staying in touch with old friends.
The second is from yours truly, with our daughter, Victoria Pentecost (N 07), marrying Ollie Horncastle on 6th October 2018, filling our local church in Wrenbury before a marquee reception at home (covering the tennis court). There were many OOs in attendance, including my brother, Chris (St A 65), son Richard (St A 05), Livvy Gordon
(N 07), Charlie Harbage (G 07), Amy Dalglish (N 05), Harry Allen (N 07), Alice Thompson (N 07), Henry Johnstone (C 07), Laura Pinkham (Sn 07) and Rosie Boscawen (Sn 07). Amongst those unable to make it were Libby Tunbridge (K 07), Sam Cheetham (N 07) and Catherine Pelton (N 07). The singing was strong, the consumption copious and the bride’s papa poetic! No sooner had we recovered from Victoria’s wedding than Richard announced his engagement to Sophie Edenborough. Like London buses, nothing for ages, then two in a year! Richard and Sophie were married on 31st August 2019. As far as staying in touch with OOs – for me, this is mainly on the golf course (see OO Sport between pages 47 and 50.).
NEWS FROM HOME
North Yorkshire
Your father and son co- correspondents for North Yorkshire remain loyal to their northern roots, even if only one is currently resident in the area, with the other following the trend of younger Yorkshire OOs living and working in London. However, we are pleased to report that whilst the northern cohort we regularly see might have been taken out of Yorkshire, the Yorkshire has not been taken out of any of us!
The twins, Emily Keston and LJ Keston (Sn 11), are thriving, having founded Keston & Keston, a children’s media talent agency. Their innovative iOS casting app is the first in the industry and encourages genuine diversity in their search for child talent across the UK. Currently, their time is spent working towards the busy Christmas theatre period for The Grinch and the upcoming UK tour of Nativity! and UK premier of The Little Princess. Their sister, Molly-May Keston (Sn 16), has just graduated from Cambridge with a first in Law. Having had impressive placements with the likes of Disney and Wiggins, her solicitor training contract starts with Farrer & Co next year. She has certainly earned the right to a few

weeks off in the latter part of 2019. My flatmate, Ed Addo (F 12), works
in PR and communications at Vuelio as a business development manager. Even more excitingly, he is pushing his music career hard, having released an EP entitled Back to Life under the name Forte. He gathered an amazing band to perform at my sister's wedding near Harrogate in December. When not doing that, he is often at gigs and fine-tuning his style.
Ben Legard (Ldr 13) reports that his northern life has slightly quietened downandheisnowonhiswayto becoming a chartered surveyor in London at Jones Norris Adams.
Likewise, James Hunt (Sc 12) is now an associate at Berenberg in equity sales.
Evie Horsell (L 12) continues her success in PR, where she has recently been appointed Communication Manager at The Palomar restaurant group. Her father, Robin Horsell (Sc 80), has been refurbishing a lovely home in North Yorkshire, although he spends plenty of time on the A1 with the ongoing success of Schoolblazer, the leading school uniform business, which is based in Oundle.
Harry Wilkinson (F 12) is continuing his successful work as an engineering designer and as such, he may well be moving out of the Yorkshire Dales soon. If so, he will remain rural, being as much a country person as you can get!
I had a good catch-up with Charley Martin (K 12) and her boyfriend,
John, at Henley this year. She is now living with her sister, Holly Martin (K
13), in London. Charley keeps in
touch with many OOs, both at
organised OO events and casually,
which is great to hear. Still project- managing at marketing and
advertising firm VCCP, she hopes to www
