Carbon Footprint Calculator

Tangerine Travel recognizes the importance of being environmentally friendly. In an effort to help our clients

who want to offset their carbon footprint while traveling, we have added a carbon footprint calculator to our

website. Investing in carbon offsets and renewable energy is a great way to compensate for the CO2

pollution created when driving, flying, or using electricity. Your offset contributions stimulate demand for

renewable energy, increase energy efficiency, and provide incentives for increasing the production of

renewable energy.

Offsetting your travel carbon footprint only take a few simple steps!

• Go to www.tangerinetravel.com and click on Corporate Travel.

• Go to Resources in the middle of the page and click on Carbon Tracker.

• Select whether you are flying, driving, or staying in a hotel. You can even determine your carbon

footprint at home, or give a gift offset!

• Click all that apply and follow the prompts.

• When finished, you will receive a certificate showing your carbon offset.

• Donations are tax deductible.

• When offsetting your travel carbon footprint you have the choice of donating to the following projects:

• International reforestation projects
• Renewable energy and energy efficiency projects

• Combination of several offset Projects
