ABOUT US
Green Kenya Corporation (GKC) was incorporated on 22nd June 2015 under the companies Act
(Cap 486) of the laws of Kenya. The corporation is a holding company consisting of Environmental
Solution Limited, Global Investment Data Bank Limited and Green Kenya Foundation that have
been operating in Kenya over the last 17 years.
GKC has undertaken projects in various sectors including water, health, energy, construction,
education, trade, transport, urban development and industry among others in partnership with
local and international investors.

To continue being the leader in providing consultancy and investment services in
Africa and Globally
MISSION
To consistently provide quality and affordable consultancy and investment services with
exceptional value on time, every time, by building relationships with our clients, employees and
business providers in a professional, ethical and transparent manner and to enhance return on
shareholders investment.
GKC is geared towards realizing the objectives of the National Environmental Policy.
ENVIRONMENTAL RIGHT: GKC supports the constitutional provision that every Kenyan has a right to a clean
and healthy environment by safeguarding and improving the environment.
RIGHT TO DEVELOPMENT: Developers and investors have a right to undertake developments and investments.
However, GKC ensures that their activities do not lead to environmental degradation.
SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE USE: The quality and value of environmental resources are served through GKC’s
services, which ensure resource utilization will not depreciate the environment nor will it decrease the
carrying capacity of ecosystems.
PRECAUTIONARY PRINCIPLE: GKC uses a scientific approach to identify negative environmental impacts and
adopts comprehensive and cost-effective measures to mitigate environmental degradation.
POLLUTER PAYS PRINCIPLE: GKC advocates for responsible waste disposal practices and supports the principle
that polluters meet the cost of damage caused to the environment by their activities.
