TIMBER HITCH,
TRANSFORMED INT() A
A KILLICK HITCH
his hitch is much used for hauling cargo and, as its name suggests, for hauling felled trees.
T A killick was the nautical name for a light anchor, a rock or anything else that might be
used to hold a small boat at sea or on a riverbed.
Leave a long working end of rope and pass it
I up around the back of the object to be
hauled, and then down over the front.
Take the working end around its own
2 standing part and form a small loop.
Tuck through the working end between the
3 standing part and itself.
