I obviously played for Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, he was probably one of the best managers in the world and I have nothing bad to say about him.
Itwasn’tapersonalthingformereally. IhaveneverbeenaUnitedfanand have never supported any team – it was a big occasion because we had beaten Manchester United, not because of me.
It was a memorable moment as we’d beaten Chelsea the week before and then beaten United, they were big results that helped us stay up that season.

She eld United gave me the chance to play and that was the main thing. Going from youth football to men’s football is a big step and that’s hopefully prepared me well for stepping into the Premier League.
I remember the day I signed, it was a memorable moment, but I haven’t made it – I want to train well and make an impact in games.
It’s the next step of my career and I’m pleased to be here.
