Eddie & Jason
Long before Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall were plotting the Cherries’ rise to the Premier League, they were top defenders for the club. What an adventure it’s been in the last years - let’s have a look at the dream duo’s route to the top!
Eddie was the rst to introduce himself to the Cherries fans. He grew up in Verwood, was on the Dean Court terraces as a youngster and came through the youth system, rst getting his chance in December against Hull City. He did a great job, winning the man of the match award and helping to keep a clean sheet as the Cherries won - .
Two-and-a-half years later and Jason was also at Dean Court after arriving from Charlton. Coming into the defence he made an immediate impact, scoring a penalty on his debut as his new team beat Millwall - .
Injury ended Eddie’s playing career early, and by the time Jason hung up his boots the pair had over 550 Cherries showings between them... but their adventure with the club was just beginning!
