VE Venetian edge detail is only available in 30+30mm

†† Please specify if the sink has square corners (less than 15mm radius)
BE Requires a 2mm bevel edge
∆ Drainer grooves and recessed drainers on granite are slightly dull and may have a patchy finished compared to the rest of the worksurface
± 20mm upstands are not from the same block as 30mm worktops and although we will endeavour to
match these as close as possible, there may be a difference in both shade and pattern.
Important points to note
Measuring up
• Apollo® Quartz worktops can expand as much as 1mm/mtr, so always allow a gap of at least 3mm if for example, worktops are captive between walls
• Tolerance in Apollo® Quartz ±2mm
• Overhangs in excess of 300mm need support
• The worktops should be supported every 600mm
• Wherever possible, joints in worktops should fall on a carcass end panel not in the middle, this gives added support to a joint.
• Plan the worktop layout to ensure joints don’t fall on or within 50mm of cutouts.
• Allow a minimum 50mm from the cutout to the front edge, 50mm from the back edge and 120mm between two hob cutouts
• Allow a minimum of 70mm between sink cut outs.
• Splashbacks and upstands over 100mm high must have a minimum gap from the face to the rear of the hob: Electric 50mm, Gas 100mm
Hot Stuff
• Hob flanges need to sit on aluminium thermal insulation tape around the cut-out to avoid conducting excess heat & causing cracks in the worktop
• Never place hot pans or cooking equipment directly onto the worksurface (or into an empty sink). Always use a heat protection pad or a trivet with rubber feet for hot cook wear or leave the pans etc to cool on the hob first.
• Flush mounted, recessed hobs (including induction hobs) are not covered under warranty
Installation
• Plastering or tiling should be completed after installation.
• Drainer grooves and recessed drainers may have a slightly duller appearance than the worktop
• Stainless steel sink cut outs are made to manufacturers recommendations
• Always use a chopping board; whilst the surface is scratch resistant, it is not scratch proof.
• Care should always be taken to protect your worksurface from sharp or heavy items.
• Care should be taken with exposed edges as if caught accidentally chipping can occur
• Although we will endeavour to supply product as close as possible to the sample in-store, variations in colour can occur. Please contact us for samples of current stock, as we cannot accept responsibility for differences between samples and stock once your worksurface has been manufactured
