Writing Your Nomination

WHEN COMPLETING YOUR NOMINATION, PREPARE TO ANSWER THE FOLLOWING:
• Please describe the team's objective and/or goals (for team nominations)
• What were the results of the team's or individual’s efforts?
• Describe in detail the situation, events, projects, etc. that contributed to the team's or individual's
performance. Include the following:
• How/why this team or individual is a good example of the award category in which you are nominating
them
• The competencies demonstrated by the team or individual
• The degree to which the team or individual demonstrated GOJO ways of working
• How the work impacted the Enterprise
• What behaviors distinguish the team or individual from others, or what is notable about this team's or
individual’s behavior as it relates to the situation, event, project, etc.?

*Tip: Allow yourself ample time to complete the nomination in full. Nominations cannot be saved as a draft and
completed at a later date. Coaching is available! If you have any questions about effectively completing a

This year, FINALISTS will be invited to The JERRYs celebration on Monday, April 9th, 2018. Finalists will be chosen
by the Selection Team which is comprised of senior leaders from each business unit across the Enterprise.
Finalists will be announced in early March. Winners of The 2017 JERRYs Employee Recognition Program awards
