It’s certainly true that students starting school with little or no English have a disadvantage. But these students can grow up bilingual and can be biliterate. This means they will enjoy the many bene ts that diversity in the classroom will o er them, particularly an increased understanding of other cultures and viewpoints. They will be as at ease with video chatting across the world as they are talking with
a classmate across the aisle—that is, if we can provide the strong foundation for language and literacy that they need to succeed in school and beyond.
System 44 was designed for English learners in need of explicit, foundational literacy support who are ready to join the community of readers. We invite you to take a closer look at how System 44 can “crack the code” for English learners and give them the tools they need to complete their journey to English language acquisition.
