Digital tools and future-focused learning environments are critical when preparing our students for the real world. However, the goal of using technology isn’t just to use technology—it’s student achievement. Digital Leadership & Learning solutions from ICLE provide leaders and teachers with the tools to support students through the power of digital learning.
LEADING FROM EXPERIENCE
Leading the digital practice area are ICLE Senior Fellows Eric Sheninger and Weston Kieschnick. As award-winning educational leaders, they played critical roles in driving the successful implementation of several sustainable change initiatives that radically transformed the learning at their schools while increasing student achievement. These e orts to implement technology as a mechanism for transforming teaching, learning, and community engagement has led to the formation of the Pillars of Digital Leadership & Learning and the Bold School Framework for Strategic Blended Learning, respectively. These frameworks and tools guide the partnership between ICLE and the school or district.
RESULTS-DRIVEN PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
Based on the  ndings of a Digital Practices Assessment, consultants partner with leadership to develop a strategic professional learning and implementation plan that follows a progression designed to grow awareness, develop expertise, and establish sustainable change. A combination of in-person and online professional learning courses and coaching enable participants to do the following:
• Make learning relevant by engaging students with technology
• Develop quality pedagogical techniques for digital learning
• Re-envision learning spaces for today’s learner
• Provide targeted feedback, so that technology can enhance learning
• Measure the e ectiveness of technology integration
• Roll out Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and 1:1 initiatives
• Use digital tools to authentically engage the community
• Build a positive brand presence for the school or district
