Program-Agnostic Instructional Practices Support
Raise the bar on learning through instructional excellence.
Instructional practices support teachers in developing and sharpening skills and building content-area knowledge, with the goal of increasing student achievement.
To maximize the experience, expert consultants from the ICLE and Math Solutions deliver a professional learning experience using a blended approach, tailored to the needs identi ed during an initial assessment. In-person foundational and deepening courses are augmented with high-quality classroom videos, lesson ideas, and associated resources. Job-embedded instructional coaching is delivered in-person or online to deliver ongoing, personalized support.
RIGOROUS LEARNING
Instructional Excellence solutions from ICLE are designed to build capacity, focusing on developing rigorous and relevant learning experiences empowered through strong relationships. Additionally, they aim to sharpen instructional practices,
improve relationship development, and develop a high-quality planning process for rigorous and relevant learning.
LITERACY
Balanced Literacy and Literacy for a Lifetime solutions from ICLE target the speci c needs of teachers as they move forward in their literacy initiative. Solutions provide support in teaching foundational skills, authentic reading and writing, guided reading and small-group instruction, independent reading, and deepening student learning and ownership through reading and writing workshops.
MATH
Math instructional support from Math Solutions focuses on mathematical practices and processes and is designed to strengthen math content and pedagogical knowledge, as well as provide instructional strategies that promote thinking, reasoning, and sense-making.
SCIENCE
Teaching Science: The Next Generation content from ICLE is a combination one full-day overview course and a series of half-day modules on various instructional topics associated with science instruction. These professional learning courses build the capacity of instructional and leadership teams to support deep understanding of rigorous learning aligned with the new science standards.
