Avee’ Brown has been highlighted this
month for our Agent Spotlight.

Avee’, voted “Agent of the Year” for 2018
and has been working for AAA for 2 years.

As a CR and Mentor for the Club, Avee’ has achieved
many goals and gotten numerous compliments for her
efforts in helping members.

Q: What do you think you do that has helped you be successful as a Call Receiver/Mentor?
A: I would say always remembering to smile through it all. People can see you smiling through the phone,
and often that can change someone else's day.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time when you aren't working?
A: RELAX! lol I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends, because time is something that you
can never get back. I spend even more time cooking and eating HaHa!

Q: What wording do you use to get so many AAR referrals?
A: I switch it up from time to time, but Darlene (Pitts, Evening CR Sup.) advised me to start actually
mentioning the names of an AAR, which helps sometimes because some are ones that members are
familiar with.

Q: What is a piece of advice someone has said to you, that you apply to your position today?
A: Tim told me to do what is asked of me here. He said that he sees a lot of potential in me and to always
bring my positive attitude with me. I've been here two years and just seeing how quickly I've been
recognized for my hard work only made me realize that what he told me was right. I always tell the new
hires that you want to make a name for yourself in a positive light. I know it is true because often I have
new hires who talk so highly of me as a person before I even get to meet them. Which is always a great
feeling, but it was an even better feeling when other supervisors or even upper management knows you
by name, which is rare that people know me because I do work from home.
