Here’s How to Avoid or Minimize Most Property Damage
CONTINUED FROM PAGE 31
Water/flood-related materials: checklists for flood
response and mold and water damage safety; a Loss
Control Brief and PowerPoint on water intrusion; and
a webinar on preventing water damage.
As you can see, these materials cover a variety
of practical topics and are available in numerous
formats. We recommend that district maintenance
and facilities personnel utilize this content to assist
in developing and maintaining district preventive
maintenance protocols. (The web pages and all of the
associated materials are accessible via the Programs
& Services tab after logging in to the Trust website.)
Finally, wherever you find yourself in your loss
control/preventive maintenance efforts — whether
you’re a one-person shop or part of a large team,
whether you’re just getting started or have years of
experience under your (tool)belt — the Trust is here to
assist. Contact your member services coordinator or
a loss control consultant and we’ll get your questions
answered, direct you to the resources you need, and
try to help in ways you may not even have thought of!
