22 THE SIGNS OF THE END
His true work simply will not go with Him. The parable of the ten
virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 is a clear illustration. Som e who constantly
cry “Lord, Lord” will not in fact join the Lord at all if the Scriptures
are to be believed.
A s to the rest of us, our great hope day by day, hour by hour, prayer
by prayer, work by work, is in His early coming.
