Increase the number of support personnel
• Identify additional support staff needed.

Improve equipment and facility infrastructure
• Identify short-term and long-term space and equipment needs at TREC.
• Identify a more efficient use of TREC space.
• Host UF/IFAS administrators and legislators on tours of TREC space and major equipment, focusing on improvement and expansion.
• Proactively seek equipment funds from UF/IFAS Research Dean’s annual program, as well as appropriate grant programs.
• Activate a donor campaign to support infrastructure improvements.
• Noticeable increase in facilities and equipment for quality research and extension programs and TREC personnel.
• Identification of space/equipment needs by 2020.
• Quality of our research infrastructures
• Complete improved infrastructure concept/design by 2020 and UF/IFAS Administration endorsement by 2021.
• Increased amount of dollars received from UF/IFAS equipment grants program for 2019 to 2025.
