การแสดงความยินดี นอกจากจะใช้ในการได้รับเลื่อนต าแหน่งให้สูงขึ้นแล้ว ยังใช้ใน

โอกาสที่บุคคลประสบความส าเร็จในการท าธุรกิจหรือการชนะเลิศในการแข่งขันต่าง ๆ ได้ เช่นกัน

ยกตัวอย่าง เช่น

 Congratulations on your prosperous business!

ขอแสดงความยินดีที่กิจการประสบความส าเร็จ

 Congratulations on your success to pass the exam!

ขอแสดงความยินดีที่สอบผ่าน

นอกจากการแสดงความยินดีแล้ว ยังมีการแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสต่างๆอีก ซึ่งมักใช้

ส านวนต่างๆดังนี้

 I'm glad that you can come. ฉันดีใจที่คุณมาได้

 I'm so pleased to see you. ฉันดีใจมากที่ได้พบคุณ
