           Instagram Activity

Instagram has this month removed the 'following' activity tab.
This feature allowed you to click on the ‘following’ tab at the top
then click on the heart icon at the bottom of the screen and you
would be able to see all of the activity of the people you were
following. This was a really useful feature, which we used to see
what type of content our ideal clients were engaging with.
Instagram have no plans to replace this feature.
                                                  Messaging
Instagram are exploring ways to improve its direct messaging.
It’s newly launched Threads App >here< opens with your camera
phone and is designed for sending video, photo or text
messages to close friends. We think it’s a fab option for
businesses who network closely together in small groups. It also
seems Instagram is going to be bringing direct messaging to its
desktop version - which is good news for those of us who spend
more time at our desktop than on our phone.

           Messenger
There are some updates rolling out to Messenger which
might help you communicate better with your clients. If
you ever reply privately to clients who leave a comment
on your posts (perhaps in response to a pricing question)
you will now have a few more options. Private replies
used to be restricted to plain text but you will now be able
to add images, templates or quick replies. If you use this
feature, it’s worth familiarising yourself with the new
options to make your replies more professional or
memorable. You can read about the new messenger
           changes >here<
           Stories
If you use stories on Facebook you’ll be pleased to know
that FB have released a set of stories templates for use in
the run up to christmas. You will find the templates in your
Ad Manager and of course they can also be used on
Instagram. This does mean they will need to be used as
part of a paid promotion but you can also download them
for re-use in your organic campaigns. This feature is
currently being rolled out, so if you don’t have it yet, you
           soon will.
