None of Them is Lost
Taking responsibility in prayer for securing the spiritual lives of Apeople committed into our hands is a key prayer.
nother secret of the prayer life of Jesus is revealed in what I have consistently referred to as His valedictory prayer recorded in John 17. There we see Him reporting
on his work and accomplishments during the three years of His ministry. In addition, we see Him also prepare his disciples ahead of future challenges by committing them to God in prayers for protection, preservation and provision. It strikes me always that His focus was overwhelmingly the people who were committed into His hands. In fact, He sought to ensure that these people, including every single person that would believe in Him through their teaching, preaching and healing ministries, are kept safe until the day of His appearing, once they became saved! Can you imagine the Saviour being concerned about all these people?
