HOW TO LOVE YOUR WIFE II: CLEANSE HER
To cleans means to rid of impurities by washing. It could also mean to make free from something unwanted. Another perspective is to cause something to leave the body or to make clean. In the context of our Christian walk, to cleanse means to get rid of all sin, iniquity and transgressions from a child of God. These things turn God off and cause Him to keep us at arm’s length.
The love commanded of husbands to show to their wives should also make the free of all impurities. This act of cleansing is also achieved through the use of the word of God. Let me say here that some of the steps mentioned during our discussion of the sanctification process will also help with the cleansing process.
