The Man In Love
According to the scripture above, God is not happy with husbands who neglect to feed their wives. These husbands know how to take care of themselves but do not attend to the nourishment needs of their wives to whom they are shepherds just like Jesus is shepherd to the church. They have the resources but their wives are not priority in terms of meeting their needs. Yet they want to rule over their wives by force, demanding submission from them. They simply risk losing their wives and coming under a curse from God. In due course God will react against the husband, deliver the wife from his hand, and withdraw nourishment from the husband as well (Ezekiel 34:7-10).
Also, nourishment must be done to the satisfaction of the wife but yet in moderation. It must be in the right quantity and not be excessive. When too much food is given too regularly, nourishment could become problematic. I recall many years ago when I went for a comprehensive medical examination upon resumption at a new job. The doctors were finding it pretty difficult to get a vein through which they could draw some blood required for some of the tests they needed to conduct.
