just kept praying for me for all that she heard. She said that her husband sent her to greet me especially and then mentioned that prior to the message she had been doing a few untoward things in her home. From the way she spoke, it was clear that the Holy Spirit opened her eyes, convicted her on specific areas of her life, and she went home to make corrections. That was why the husband was so appreciative because her wife had turned a new leaf!
The anchor scripture for the main theme, The Real family, was 1 Corinthians 3:1-3. There Paul made clear that without love, many of the things we do, as children of God, would count for nothing. He maintained that speaking in tongues would be meaningless. In addition, the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us would also amount to nothing. Then he said that if we give away all our goods to the poor or we give ourselves to be burnt, they would not yield any profit or benefit if they are not done in love. The point underscored in his submission is that love is the fruit that must drive everything we do in life, and especially our service to God.
