Chapter One
THE SUPREMACY OF LOVE
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
The Christian walk is essentially a walk in love. God, who is love, in love reconciled us to Himself, by sending His only Son that He loved, to show us love by dying for us. In the Christian walk love is supreme. The emphasis on love is unmistakable. Love is the nature of God that is found also in His Son. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to bring us into the same nature of love. Jesus commanded that we walk in that love of God and gave us access to the Holy Spirit through whose help we can attain unto that love nature. The man in love, as a child of God, must walk in this nature of love and actually understand the true love that God is!
