the Father and many more sons of God. The husband and wife relationship can benefit a great deal from the truth! A husband who ‘dies to self’ will be the winner in the end. He will gain His wife primarily and also his children. In fact, he will impact upon and gain seed in generations to come. A husband who does not die to self like the grain of wheat will lose his wife, and by implication, lose himself. Recall that his wife is his own body. Husband must not make the mistake of abiding alone. They must be willing to die to self whenever it comes to relating with their wives. Therein lie huge benefits that cannot otherwise be enjoyed. The attitude here has to be such that a husband does something that brings joy and fulfillment to his wife with the conviction that once she is joyful, his joy would be full as well.
What Makes A Sacrifice Acceptable
“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men.
