SACRIFICE MUST BE FULL-HEARTED, NOT HALF-HEARTED.
When a gesture of sacrifice gives the impression that it is a burden to the husband or it is being extracted through force or coercion, it will not be acceptable to our wives. Our gestures of sacrifice must come from the heart and reflect through personal conviction on the part of husbands. We must do it because we believe in it and are committed to it, and this often shows in the quality of what we give or do to our wives. Look at what God complained about the sacrifice rendered to Him by the people in Malachi 3,
And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you?
