The Man In Love
their love. Husbands would equally assume the position that nothing can separate them from the love of their wives, with submission as the hallmark.
If we go back to the scripture in John 14:23-24, we recall that Jesus said whoever loves Him will be loved by His Father and both Himself and His Father would make their home with him. Here we also see evidence of the reciprocal gesture of love that is elicited by a primary gesture. We also love Jesus today because He first loved us! We find His gesture of love so compelling that we cannot but seek to reciprocate it. This is a principle that husbands and wives must bear in mind, and be encouraged by, in order to ensure they stay committed to obeying the specific commands that they have been respectively given. Love and submission are kingdom keys provided to husbands and wives respectively, to enable them produce the wives and husbands that their hearts desire!
