After many days had passed, Jack visited

the giant’s castle again. The giant’s wife was
happy to see Jack and gave him a huge pie.

Fee-fi-fo-fum

While Jack was

eating, the giant

came home.

“Fee-fi-fo-fum, I

smell the blood of

a boy. Be he alive,
or be he dead, I’ll

grind his bones to

make my bread!”

cried the giant. The
giantess quickly hid

the boy and told

the giant, “There is
no boy in here!”
