House Hunting
By the time January rolled around, I had saved up enough money to start thinking about moving into a new place. Not to mention, my original offer to live with Jo only stood until February. It was merely an ironic coincidence that both of these notions overlapped. What was not a coincidence, however, was planning on living with Katinka.
Since the middle of senior year I had been telling Tink that we would be good to live together. She was still waiting to hear back about New York, but had told me “ she would be down”. New York eventually fell through, and after about six months of her working while living at home, she saved up enough and was ready to move out.
Jean had also asked if she could live with us, and we both said yes in a heartbeat. She had just gotten a job animating for a small commercial company and was excited to feel like “a part of LA”.
