Website & Social Media (Styling)



































            The UNAM Main Website was recently revamped for
            the following reasons:
            •   Challenge of content management and
                maintenance
            •   Static nature of website – requires vibrant modern interactive approach
            •   Brand Management, styling and photography (Website better suited with CEIRD)

            The planning is to literally create a number of websites in one, to make it more user friendly and modern in
            approach. When a Prospective Student visits the website, the student should click on prospective student and
            go to a setup that talks to that specific student, whatever he or she visits. When a Researcher visits the website,
            he or she should be directed to only research related matters, when clicking on research. (Almost similar to
            current research subdomain.) This should be the case for several key visiting stakeholders, not to be inundated
            with non-relevant info.

            Non-essential stuff like vision & mission statements, welcoming remarks, etc. are removed from website, to
            get more focused on why key stakeholders would visit a website. From experience, we have learned that a
            website is never complete, it is ALWAYS A WORK IN PROGRESS. One of the main reasons for website to end up
            with CEIRD, is the availability of institution-wide information and brand material, which luckily we can retrieve
