George Hempt 2/4
George, the son of Max Hempt and his wife Amy, is a fifth generation polo player. He started riding at an early age, and began to play polo competitively years ago. He played in Interscholastic tournaments on the promising West Shore Interscholastic team under the direction of Cindy Halle and Posey Obrecht where the team won a National Championship Tournament. George will be playing for his father’s West Shore Polo team this summer. He is a senior at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island majoring in Construction Management . In 2017 he led Roger Williams Polo to their first Intercollegiate National Championship!
Max Hempt 0/2
Max is a long time member of Maryland Polo Club. He and his son play for West Shore Polo. His daughter is a member of the Aiken Hounds. His wife, Amy, enjoys golfing and can normally be seen on the sidelines rooting for West Shore Polo.
Louisa Huber 0/2/4/5
Louisa is a senior at the University of Kentucky. She plans to major in social work and is a member of the Pi Phi sorority. She played interscholastic polo on the West Shore polo team for the duration of her high school career, and continues to play Intercollegiate polo at UK.
Tom Huber 2/3
       Tom has been around horses his entire life and began playing polo at an early age. He attended the University of Virginia where he played on teams that won two
National Championships, and was named to the Intercollegiate All American Team for three years. He was also honored as Town & Country Collegiate Player of the Year. Tom has two children, Tommy and Louisa, who are polo players. The family's farm is in Monkton and Tom is a portfolio manager for T. Rowe Price Associates in Baltimore.
