Dorothy: Ouch!
Alan, Emma, Mike&Wendy: Who are you?
Dorothy: Humm. Where am I?
Emma: You’re in my house. What’s your name?

Chorus: (sing the song on p. 45)
Hello. What’s your name? Hello. What’s your name?
Dorothy: My name is Dorothy. Nice to meet you.
Wendy: My name is Wendy. Nice to meet you.
Alan: Are you OK?
Emma: Do you need a hand?
Mike: A hand? This is a hand.
Emma: No. It means “Do you need help?”
Mike: Oh, I see.

Dorothy: Yes. I want to go home, but I’m lost. My house is on the hill.
Alan, Emma, Mike&Wendy: Don’t worry. We can help.
Chorus: (sing “We can help you go home” to the melody of “Happy Birthday”)

Narrator: Alan, Mike, Emma and Wendy are now helping Dorothy find her way
home.

Wendy: Listen! Do you hear that?
Mike: What? What do you hear?
Alan: I hear someone crying.
Emma: Look! A scarecrow!
Dorothy: Hi! Are you OK? Do you need help?
Scarecrow: I’m sad. I’m not happy.
Mike: Why?
Scarecrow: I’m not smart. I want to have a brain and be smart.
Dorothy: Don’t be sad. Come with us. We can help you.

Scarecrow: Really? Thank you.
