In the village, Boris went to a jewelry shop so that he could sell
the pendant he stole from Anastasia. But his jaw dropped when he
learned the secret of the pendant. The golden pendant was far more
precious than he had imagined. It belonged to the royal princess
named Anastasia whom everybody had thought was killed six
years ago. Boris, thinking that he could make more money if he
could present Asia to the Grand Duschess, changed his mind about
selling it and went back to Anastasia. 27
