The fascination of Koh Larn
If you are tired of working for the whole week and are looking for a place to rest and relax that is
near Bangkok, easy to travel, and also cost savings. We recommend Koh Larn for your summer
vacation.
Koh Larn is located 8 km off Pattaya and 150 km from Bangkok. It is a very popular destination
on weekends of travelers both Thai and foreigners. They can come from Bangkok, only 2 hours
away to spend the end of the week or holidays. Koh Larn means the Coral Island. It has the
sandy power beaches and the crystal clear water the nearest from the Thai capital city.
Koh Larn is 4 km long and has small hills on top with a small temple. There are
two small villages in Ban Koh Lan and Ban Krok Makhan. This is where the
restaurants and most hotels and guesthouses are. Most of Koh Larn's beaches are
located on the west coast. The most popular and populated one is undoubtedly
Tawaen Beach.
