D. Students encouraged by reward

There are some of our TVET learner who are motivated to continue

learning, because there is reward attached to it

This type of learning happens when:

Students know that they will be rewarded in terms of

certification,internships, learner-ships and employment

opportunities

These students will never learn unless the are sure of the

rewards they are going to get

These students are motivated when they see rewards like these:

This type of learning is backed by the theory of behaviorism:

The theory that human behaviour can be explained in terms

of conditioning, without appeal to thoughts or feelings, and

that psychological disorders are best treated by altering

behaviour patterns.
