The Andes provides a home to the endangered chinchilla which is greatly endangered due to
its over hunting for its fur in 1940. As well as this majority of the Andes, particularly the
southern point is all glacier which is rapidly melting due to increased temperatures.
Decimated crops, reduced fish stocks and complete destruction to villages are all the result
of increasing temperatures.
