really going to miss seeing [my sisters] every day and going to all their sporting events ... but I know that they’re going to support me and come to my meets as much as they can.”
Kendall will be back with the NOHS softball program, hoping to build on her freshman campaign that saw her earn co- region player of the year distinction. She wants to help get the basketball team deeper into the playoffs, too.
And when her younger sisters move up to high school, Kendall hopes to enjoy that experience the same way she enjoyed her shared time with Karlee.
“The way we were able to succeed together and have both of our names called out over the speaker at school, see each other in the hallways and go to football games together, it’s going to be different without Karlee,” Kendall said. “But I’ll be there for two years with [my younger twin sisters] and hopefully I can have that same relationship with them that Karlee and I had.”
