“Knowing they had to be doing well in their classes to be able to participate in eSports definitely helped improve their performance in classes.”
Frederiksen has been impressed with the hard work these students have put into the program.
“It was all student organized, so I think that’s a testament to just how much these students wanted a program like this,” he said. “I would like to help people recognize just how talented they are.”
